General Information

Surrounded by farmland, the Avondale Dairy Bar is a popular destination for many locals. Part of the landscape for over 50 years, the Dairy Bar still retains its original atmosphere and some of its classic menu items: milkshakes, banana splits, and ice cream.

As seasonal local fruit becomes available, it is added to the menu atop ice cream to become the "featured sundae". On warm summer afternoons and evenings, expect to see couples, families and friends, young and old, eating ice cream on the picnic benches outside while the kids, with ice cream in hand, play on the swing sets.
