Explore the life and times of rock legend Jimi Hendrix during his short but eventful stay in London in 1968-70, the final (and arguably most important) years of his musical career.

This is a prototype walking tour of Mayfair, Soho, and other relevant districts encompassing several of the performance venues and shopping venues frequented by Jimi Hendrix during his years of residence at 23 Brook Street, London.

The starting point of the tour is at Handel and Hendrix in London – the museum devoted to the lives of these two different but enormously significant musical figures, who lived in the same building, separated by a wall, and 200 years of history.

Though the street address of the museum is 23 Brook Street, the public entrance is actually in Lancashire Court, which is the first laneway to the left of the 23 Brook Street entrance. The tour will end at Piccadilly Circus Underground Station.

Optionally, you can continue all the way back to the starting point, if you choose.
