This subdivision boasts street names of historically significant people of Niagara. Laura Secord Place is named after the War of 1812 heroine.

Laura Secord Place is a court-style street located in the Garrison Village sub-division development outside of Olde Town Niagara-on-the-Lake. The street is adjacent to the 4 Mile Creek Conservation Area and Butler's Burial Grounds, the location of Loyalist Colonel John Butler's remains. Colonel John Butler was instrumental in protecting British interests in North America during the American Revolution in the late 18th Century, in particular Niagara.

From Toronto:
1.Take Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) toward Niagara.
2.Take the Regional Road 89/Glendale Avenue S exit.
3. Merge onto Glendale Ave/Regional Rd 89.
4. Turn right onto Taylor Rd/Regional Rd 70.
5. Continue onto Niagara Stone Rd (signs for Niagara-on-the-Lake).
6. Turn left onto Garrison Village Drive.

7. Turn right to stay on Garrison Village Drive.
8. Turn right onto Upper Canada Drive.

9. Turn right onto Colonel Butler Crescent.
10. Take the 2nd left onto Laura Secord Place.

From Niagara:

1.Take QEW to Toronto.
2.Take the Regional Road 89/Glendale Avenue exit toward Niagara-on-the-Lake.
3. Turn right onto Glendale Ave/Regional Rd 89.
4. Turn left onto York Rd (signs for Virgil/Niagara-on-the-Lake)
5. Take the 1st right onto Airport Rd.
6. Turn right onto Niagara Stone Rd.

7. Turn left onto Garrison Village Drive.

8. Turn right to stay on Garrison Village Drive.
9. Turn right onto Upper Canada Drive.

10. Turn right onto Colonel Butler Crescent.
11. Take the 2nd left onto Laura Secord Place.
