The south-east corner of Queen Street and Valley Way has hosted a number of different businesses, including Stu Bird Motors, A-1 Flooring and the cash-and-carry family hardware store Farr Lumber.
Today, the location is occupied by Taps on Queen. Founded in 2004, custom crafted beer is brewed on the premises.
