The next building on the right to the Children's Library, Mrs. Orrell's Hall is the next stop on the Florence Memorial Tour of Richards Landing. Mrs. Florence Orrell purchased the building in 1936.
Previously named the Brandon Hall, it was referred to by most visitors and residents as Mrs. Orrell's Hall. This building provided the local community with a space of leisure and recreation, important to a place struck by hardships.
The building was sold in 1960 to the Emmanuel Anglican Church and has since become a personal residence. Mrs. Orrell Hall is recognized as a historical building in St. Joseph Island.
Located on a hill overlooking Richards Street. The beauty of the architecture and stonework showcase the building's historic and religious roots.

Built in 1894, to serve as a Presbyterian Church for Richards Landing. The building was purchased by Mrs. Florence Orrell in June, 1936 from St. Joseph Lodge #347 Independent Order of Odd Fellows and the Grand Lodge of the IOF to be serviced as a lodge or hall for the community.
Mrs. Orrell's Hall (Brandon Hall) served the community of Richards Landing for many years as the location was used for various events and entertainment. The main event was the annual Community Nights where residents and visitors would come together for orchestras, dancing and recreation. It was reported that it cost $15 to host an orchestra and dance in the hall in 1946. These Community Nights still play a large role in St. Joseph Island culture.
The Emmanuel Anglican Church purchased the building from Mrs. Florence Orrell's estate in 1960. While the building is now a personal residence, it has been recognized as a historical landmark. The original Brandon Hall sign hangs in the St. Joseph Island Museum.
