What is Exile?

Exile is a vintage clothing store, emphasis on vintage.

Most thrift shops will say they have vintage clothing but only carry clothing that dates back to the 80s at best. While the website says the shop has been operating since 1978, the original shop and the beginning of this business started in 1975. They carry a wide range of vintage clothes and accessories, dating all the way back to the 1940s!

The shop features anything from prom dresses to casual clothes. It's a fantastic place for those looking for vintage goods or just a good pair of jeans. It has been featured in the Toronto Star as well as Jeanne Baker's Top 100 shops. The store not only features everyday fashion but also costumes so this stop provides variety throughout the years and season.

They have vintage posters, they feature Canadian artists' art at the front counter, and they also have a wide variety of accessories, from bags to belts or hats to chains, Exile does not disappoint.
