Recreational Features

This modern style playground features a unique play structure suitable for children of a younger age. A couple of the most interesting features are a rock-climbing wall and an obstacle course. The bright green and blue colours make the area a visually engaging experience for its young audience.

There are also many sensory features which would be fun for kids! There is a splashpad with bright colours and hoops to run through. The step ladders within the play structure also have unusual twists and turns embedded in them. It is fair to say that the playground has many artistic designs to be appreciated!

The area features a sheltered picnic spot for families to enjoy a lunch or snack. For older children, there is a large field with soccer nets and an adjacent skatepark. For community events, there is a baseball field complete with bleachers. Once finished at the park, families can enjoy the scenic experiences and quaint shops in the Virgil and Niagara-on-the-Lake area.
