As mentioned the course is beside the Niagara Gorge, tourists activity such as boats rides along the Niagara gorge take place, as well as prime spots for fishing., there is also a high ropes course between the course and the George.
The golf course itself is spectacular, the total yardage from the championship tees is 7019 yards and a par 72; golf Digests has also given Whirlpool Golf Course a four star review (N. (n.d.)).
The course wad designed in 1947 by Stanley Thompson and then opened in 1950, not far after opening the courses reputation was thriving as it was ranked 47th best course in Canada (N. (n.d.)).
