From the moment you tee off you will be overwhelmed with the beautiful view to the right of the tee box, what better way to start your round than teeing off right beside Lake Ontario. At the end of the first hole you will then be overwhelmed with the historic Fort Mississauga, which is still in very good condition.

You might be wondering how many of the courses greens are in there original position, only one of the nine greens is in the exact same spot it was years ago, it is green number eight, Niagara on the Lake Golf Course is very proud of green number 8 (N. (n.d) Home).

Out of the five courses on the tour Niagara On the Lake Golf Course has more history than all other four courses; It is incredible to play the course and realize the amount of historical significants that once took place on the course. A. big part of our Canadian history took place on this site as it was one of the major locations where the war of 1812 took place (N. (n.d) Home).

Fort Mississauga is maintained by Parks Canada, (N. (n.d) Home). You catwalk inside the Fort and explore what was once a battle site, it is easy to see where the canons were positioned; outside the Fort it is easy to see were the moat once was.
