In the the early 1930s, the business block on the corner of Cummington Square West and Bridgewater Street was home to Evans Rexall Drug Store, where patrons could also purchase candy, toiletries, stationery, cigars, film, and souvenirs.
A later tenant of the corner establishment was Roy Muma's Barber Shop. It subsequently housed Chippawa Movieland, a video rental emporium. Circa 2018, it became the home of CreekSides Ice Cream Parlour and Cafe.
