In the late 1950s, the downtown community needed a large grocery store, and a Dominion grocery store replaced the mill and shops. We were unable to find a photo of that store with Dominion branding.
The Dominion store was subdivided into several separate shopfronts, one of which became the site of the Ontario Provincial Offences Court, seen below.
By 2017, the Ontario Provincial Offences Court offices were gone from the site. The building was up for lease until 2023, at which point the Court offices were replaced - somewhat ironically - by Wonder Buds Cannabis Shop. Heart Niagara and Apsis Internet occupied the other two ends of the building.
