On 16 September 1970, Jimi attended a birthday party in honour of Judy Wong at the flat occupied by Rainbow Bridge star, Pat Hartley (who wasn't there). In 1970 Judy Wong was the wife of Jethro Tull guitarist Glenn Cornick. Wong was well known on the West Coast music scene, running a clothing store, Passionflower, in San Francisco favoured by musicians like Janis Joplin during the 1960s. Wong befriended Fleetwood Mac and later ran the band's office in Los Angeles. She died from a heart attack in Los Angeles, in April 2005.
