The Roselawn Centre works in junction with the Showboat Festival Theatre to create a space for art to thrive.

Along with theatre shows and performances, this space hosts events, art festivals, music programs, business meetings, weddings, private events, and more.

The mission of Roselawn Centre is to be a permanent art community centre that encourages a vibrant social and cultural life in the community.

The Friends of Roselawn Centre is a non-profit organization with charitable status that was created in April 2013 to help fundraise for the building and to organize events and programs. Their mission is "Creating a home for the arts and entertainment at Roselawn to ensure a vibrant cultural life for our community."

The Showboat Festival presents live theatre at the Roselawn Centre. They began presenting theatre here in 1994 and have continued to produce entertaining shows since. The box office and theatre are locate at the side of the Roselawn building where visitors can purchase tickets and enjoy a couple hours of amusing and professional productions.

The Showboat Festival Theatre is also in partnership with the Lighthouse Festival theatre after they decided to share their resources in 2012. This has boosted their subscriptions and has allowed them to build a relationship with each other and helps to better promote the arts in these regions.

The City of Port Colborne is in charge of planning and organizing year round activities for art, theatre, and music programs. The Roselawn Centre has large steps that go up to the main door, but around the side there is a ramp leading to a side door. The Showboat Festival Theatre is on ground level and can be entered through the main door without the need for a ramp.

Call ahead before arriving if there are other accessibility features that you require.
