Cave Springs Conservation Area is nestled behind vineyards and wineries, at the bottom of the escarpment, and within the Carolinian forest (where over one third of the animals are labeled vulnerable or worse). With the naturally produced caves, this means that animals that prefer a habitat like that can also be found in this area. Some other sights include an underground lake, rock carvings, and a wartime hideout. This area also connects to the Bruce Trail.

Passive activities like birding or walking are permitted

Some historical attributes are: Wartime hideout and rock carvings, also a nearby native North American encampment site with no mention of tribe

The plenty of different habitats and plants make it a popular migratory path for animals.
