Niagara Parks' Botanical Gardens is home to their School or Horticulture, a world-famous rose garden, and also the Butterfly Conservatory. Visitors are welcome to roam around the grounds freely and explore 99 acres of gardens maintained by the horticulture students.

The Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens also offer horse and carriage tours (at extra charge) and the grounds are also home to the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. There is also a snack bar available.
The Botanical Gardens are home to 99 acres of maintained gardens that include perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas, parterre garden, herbs and vegetable plantings. The grounds are also home to their very own world-famous rose garden that cares for over 2400 roses.
Importance Within NPC
The Botanical Gardens serves as an outdoor hands on classroom for the students of the Niagara Parks School of Horticulture. It as used to teach and train students on the native plant life and how to maintain and care for it. Not only is this location important to the NPC because of its schooling, but it also serves as an education tool for visitors to learn about the native plant life as well. It also protects and preserves its native wildlife and allows visitors to learn about why every single plant and animal is important and its place in the ecosystem here.
