Then: St. John's Anglican Church

Single story building with gothic arch windows. Steep roof with bell tower. Small enclosed entrance centre. Lattice type fence in front. Mature trees partially obscure the building.

Dating back to 1825, St. John's Church was built largely through the efforts of the Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada, Sir Peregrine Maitland. After the new church was built, many of the original furnishings were donated to Upper Canada Village to restore a church.

Now: Stamford Green Heritage Columbarium

This site was dedicated as a columbarium on April 5, 1990.
