The Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church was built over the course of 1923 and 1924. Before the construction of this house of worship, local Carmelite fathers gave mass in various places within the Village of Chippawa.
The Sacred Heart Church still serves the Roman Catholic congregation of Chippawa in the same structure.
