Diamond Jubilee school on Dorchester Road was built in 1927, which was the Diamond Jubilee (60th) anniversary of Canadian Confederation. It was constructed near the Green's Corners overcrowded school, and boasted four classrooms. Diamond Jubliee had many extensions and upgrades through the years, especially in 1948, when new classrooms, a library, a gym and a teachers' lounge were added. The new detached building offered "ultra-modern" features such as radiant heating.

The school was considered for closing more than once, but finally, after celebrating its 75th anniversary, "declining enrolment" was cited by the District School Board, and Diamond Jubliee's 122 students were transferred to Princess Margaret school.

The building was used as an educational facility by Pathways Academy and Early Learning Centre until its demolition in May 2019. The lot is currently being zoned for the construction of residential townhouses.
