The Terry Fox Trail in the city of St. Catharines is a neighbourhood trail built using the path of an abandoned CN rail line. The path has six distinct exercise stations dispersed along the way. Near the south end of the path users will pass the St. Catharines Collegiate, one of St. Catharines' oldest high schools, which also has a running track onsite. The southern end of the path leaves users in downtown St. Catharines and in close distance to many amenities and other trail links such as the Twelve Trail, Participark Trail and the Merrit Trail. Parking may be available in the neighbourhood surrounding the trail, but visitors should always use discretion. (Niagara Greenbelt 2012)
