Rolly Polly Cow is a company owned by the family. A husband and wife team, who wanted people to enjoy ice cream in a different way, the masterminds of this business. They visited other Ice Cream Parlors everywhere else and found the same ice cream. They got bored eating the same old ice cream, after a long day of work, they went to an ice cream shop that sold rolled up ice cream with Asian flavours. Right then was the birth of a new age of the business Rolly Polly Cow.

The couple went on a long and exhausting journey giving up their spare time to create new ice cream recipes that could be mixed and rolled up by people looking for some kind of new non-generic ice cream.

After a struggle over a span of one year, they were eventually able to discover recipes made from all the fresh ingredients that were better than chemicals and food coloring that could be detrimental to the health used by almost any other ice cream company, and hence the development of Rolly Polly Cow.

The ordering procedure is quite simple. This first step is to choose one of the four flavours of the ice cream bases. Secondly, choose any one of the 16 items to mix in. Then, choose any one of the 16 toppings. And finally, choose one of the 8 drizzle sauce to add on.

Rolly Polly Cow is located in Pen Center shopping mall. Customers can stop by the ice cream store, get a freshly-made ice cream rolls and then go shopping. There are many options of shopping: clothing, electronics, esthetics, daily products, gift shops, food and beverages. There is an inside playground for children. Also, there is a cinema outside the shopping mall.

Cultural Background

Rolled ice cream is a very common street food in Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries. All ice creams are made at the scene. Customers can choose fresh fruit or cookies to add to the ice cream. The staff pours milk and toppings on the ice pad and mix them together. The dry ice under the pad will make the mixture quickly frozen. Due to the high temperature, people in Southeast Asia makes this type of ice cream to slower the melting speed.

Ingredients

All rolled ice creams are freshly made in front of the customers. There is no need to worry about the quality. The toppings and mixtures are guaranteed fresh and in high qualities. Customers can actually see the brands of the toppings. Fruits are freshly cut. There is no chemical food colouring added into the ice cream.

Combination of Imagination

Rolly Polly Cow has menu that already designs the combinations of ice creams. However, customers can also choose to DIY. They can choose whatever they would like to add to the ice cream from lists of options.

Canadian, eh!

This is one of the top flavours. This is a combination of Canadian and Southeast Asian cultures. The ice cream has vanilla flavoured base, mixed with walnuts, drizzled with maple syrup and topped with maple whipped cream. This one is different from the COWNADIAN MAPLE that you have tried in COWS Niagara-On-The-Lake. Unlike the rich milk flavour, the ice cream here has lighter tastes and you won't get greasy feelings.

Rolly Polly Cow is co-owned by Kanwal & Jasjeet. Kanwal works for a Wall Street investment bank and Jas operates the parlor at Rolly Polly Cow. Jas is a local girl, raised in St. Catharines, who attended Laura Secord Secondary School.
