Swayze Falls is located in Short Hills Provincial Park. There are many activities that you may do around the falls. This place is great for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and horseback riding since there are many different trails. Please pay attention to signage, as not all activities are permitted on all trails. Following the Palaeozoic path will lead you to the best view of the Swayze Falls.This is also the fastest and easiest way to get there.

You may choose the trails that suit you best to travel around the falls. For the easiest and fastest way to see the falls, choose the Palaeozoic Path. This path can be accessed access right from the Swayze Falls entrance of Short Hills Provincial Park on Roland Road.
People that want to horseback ride and bike around the falls can choose the Swayze Falls Trail, Very Berry Trail, and Black Walnut Trail.
Swayze Falls was created 12,500 years ago. Numerous fossils have been found in the area such as the dalmonites, dimercrinities, and trimerus.
Swayze Falls is located in the Carolinian zone, a distinctive forest type in Southern Ontario. A high proportion of the species in Short Hills Provincial Park are endangered. There are many types of wildlife that may be seen in the area such as the leopard frog, coyotes, great horned owls, and others.
