General Description

Rockway Falls is located east of Ball's Falls. The best and easiest way to view the fall would be from on the bridge. You are able to see the falls from the bridge, but to get the best view, you may need to go closer to the falls.

The Rockway Falls has a height of 18.3 metres, it is one of the must-see waterfalls in the Niagara Region. Many people state the Rockway Waterfalls is a hidden gem in Niagara Region. People are able to hike through the Bruce Trail to see the best view of the Rockway Falls.

Recreational Features

Rockway Falls is great for hiking, viewing natural sites (rocky scenes), and photography.

Geological Features

The escarpment of this falls was created 450 million years ago, which it compressed in rocks of limestone and shale. This site it is also one of the UNESCO world biosphere reserves as well. This site is protected by the UNESCO.

Ecological Features

The falls is located on 15 Mile Creek on the Niagara Escarpment. The area is filled with many local plant and animal species in Rockway Falls The trees that are in the area may be up to 400 years old.
