General Description

The Lock 7 Viewing Center is one of the complexes among this tour that offers an area to have a pleasant viewpoint of the Welland Canal and the Locks that are used to raise and lower ships throughout the Welland Canal.

Recreational Features

The Lock 7 Viewing Complex offers a heightened viewpoint to offer visitors an elevated view of Lock 7 and the Welland Canal. While visitors are awaiting for ships to travel along the Welland Canal, a complimentary movie is offered to be watched.

For those that have a niche in historical images, visitors may gaze at 60 historical pictures that are located throughout the complex. These pictures showcase the changes of the City of Thorold throughout the years.
