Balls Falls Tour 3 - Big Barn

When looking at the barn as a point of interest we would like to gain further knowledge of how the 19th century inhibitor used this barn and the impact it had upon their life during these times. We will also touch upon the current day uses for it as well as how the renewal and reuse of historical locations further the education and lower the environmental impacts that those specific locations have. Today, the barn is used for many different events and functions such as parties, weddings and other related social gatherings.

Recreational Uses

Yearly Thanksgiving festivities take place within and around the Barn which have been a public success since the opening of the conservation area in 1974, and help bring the community together.
