The Pedestrian Bridge stretches over the Twenty Mile Creek is a great pausing place for a sightful view, plus allows visitors to see up the creek that runs from the upper to lower falls. Within this 2-3 verbal segment some information that will be shared is in regards to the watershed and its effects on the falls. Included will be some information about the wildlife that inhabit the surrounding creeks and forest. We would also like to touch on how the watering path has impacted the environment.
Standing on top of the pedestrian bridge, the tourist is able to view an abundance of the natural biodiversity within the conservation area. A mixed variety of hardwood and coniferous trees make up this decidous region, with over 450 different plant species. Fish species that live within the Twenty Mile Creek include largemouth bass, yellow perch, grass pickerel, rock bass and green sunfish. A wide array of birds also inhabit the conservation area and allow for pleasant wildlife observation. Some of the bird species included here are the eastern bluebird, indigo bunting, and house sparrow. Hike along the Cataract trail to find some of these spectacular sights of nature and wildlife.
