Chippawa Lions Park was one of the sites selected for a $475,000 revitalization project in 2017. Renovations included the removal of the park's wading pool, which was replaced by a large splash pad. The park was also fitted with metal picnic tables and an updated play set for children, complete with padded play surfaces to avoid cuts and bruises.

The Chippawa Lions property became the site of new outdoor basketball and tennis courts, and an extended skate park. It remains a popular and well used recreational facility for Chippawa residents today.
