The Shaw Festival Theatre located in Niagara-on-the-Lake, is a major not for profit organization that was

founded in 1962. Originally, it was developed to market George Bernard Shaw (an Irish

playwright/political activist), and to expand the theatre arts offerings in Canada as a whole.
