The congregation of the Glengate Alliance Church started out on Temperance Street as the Alliance Tabernacle. A new church was constructed in 1979 on Glengate Street at Drummond Road. The congregation later moved to the Lord Elgin/St. Michael High School location.

Now: Branscombe Early Learning Centre

The Glengate site is now home to the Branscombe Early Learning Centre, a child care centre offering a program for infants, toddlers and preschool children.
