This photo, dating back to the 1940s, shows the Riverview Tourist Home. Operated by Mrs. John Bald, advertising proclaimed the home was only five minutes from the falls and every room had "inner spring mattresses and running water".
This location still hosts visitors today at the Villa Alexandrea Bed and Breakfast.
