About This Tour

Welcome! Bangkok By River and Rail is an interpretive guide that will bring you throughout Thailand's capital to five unique points of interest. This tour incorporates a variety of the city's well known features as well as a lesser-known places. The destinations and activities incorporated in this tour share a theme that will encourage you to enjoy the local culture ranging from food to history, and so much more. As a city that is frequently visited by tourists, you are encouraged to take your time to explore the all these places and the rich culture that they contain.

It is recommended that you travel by rivers and rail. By learning about the BTS (Skytrain), the MRT (subway), and Khlong Saen Saep river taxi systems, you will develop an understanding of how to get around Bangkok by the choice methods of travel by locals. Each of the destinations highlighted in this tour have been selected to represent significant historical and/or cultural features of Bangkok. This tour focuses on providing you with an intimate experience that gives you a first-hand look into the city to learn about the culture.

One of the benefits of traveling in Bangkok is the closeness to other amazing attractions like the shopper's paradise, Siam Paragon; and the history-lover's favourite destination, the Grand Palace.
