Ecological

The Niagara Escarpment is a very important geological landform within Canada, and is one of the 15 biosphere reserves within the country. The Niagara Escarpment Biosphere Reserve gives the Niagara Region international recognition, and protects the natural environment, including farmlands, wetlands and forest.

With the McGibbon property spanning 33 acres, this is a large area that is undeveloped and an important area to conserve. Located on the border of Niagara-on-the-Lake and Niagara Falls, the ecological significance of this area is very high and should be protected. With the surrounding properties being vineyards and orchards, this natural environment is truely an inspiring area.

Recreational

Horseback riding combines physical activity, mind stimulation, and emotional connection to the environment and horses. It is a fun activity, and there is always something to learn or perfect. It uses a variety of muscles, and is a great way to stay in shape! It is guided however, and only offers horseback riding as recreational use as it is private property (can not walk through trails on the proper.
