Queen Victoria Park is right in the center the Niagara Parks, which gives the garden easy access to the public. Queen Victoria Park is bounded by the escarpment, the Niagara Gorge, and the Niagara River and has a wide collection of valuable native and international plant material from around the world. For the convenience of the visitors, Queen Victoria Park has much of the plant material labeled which allows everyone to understand what they are viewing. The park also features a major rock garden, a hybrid tea rose garden, and attractive carpet-bedding displays. Numerous park benches and beautiful lawns provide a pleasant opportunity for relaxation for the weary traveller. Queen Victoria Park celebrates every season in style. In spring, over 500,000 daffodils start the season in their bright and welcoming way. Magnificent magnolia trees, breathtaking tulips and other blooms are all there for you to enjoy.

Summer features of Queen Victoria Park include carpet bedding displays as well as thousands of other bedding plants that include Fuchsia, Lantana Standars, Cannas, Coleus, and many others that provide horticultural and aesthetic points of interest. During the winter months, the park has stark branches of trees and shrubs that have been covered by snow and ice forming from the mist of the Falls. This creates an interesting visual spectacle in the garden. Also, in the winter the park acts as the main focal point to the light show that takes place every year along the Niagara Falls.
