General Information

Jaycee park is one of St.Catharine's largest parks, and contains ma beautiful landscaped flowers, grass and trees. This park is a great place for families and individuals alike to go and relax. There are long footpaths where people can enjoy long walks, while admiring the stunning natural beauty of the park. The location has ample space for people to come and enjoy picnics, walks or any outdoor activities they enjoy.

Directions

From Toronto:
Take the Gardiner Expressway West ramp and merge onto QEW/ON-403 W. Take the Ontario Street/ Regional road 42 exit. Turn left onto Ontario street and the park will be on the left hand side.

From Niagara:

Take the QEW Highway towards Toronto. Take exit 47 towards Ontario Street South. Merge onto Henley Drive and turn left onto Ontario Street. Jaycee park will be on the left hand side.

Historical

Jaycee park contains a beautifully decorated memorial in the memory of Kristen French, who was tortured and murdered in 1992. The park itself is located on the land that once played host to the Third Welland Canal. The entrance of the Canal can still be seen towards the North end of the park.

Ecological

Jaycee Gardens park is St. Catharines' largest horticultural park. It consists of about 8 hectares of stunning landscapes of many different flowers, trees and lush green grass. The park has gone a long way to beautify the community of St. Catharines and provide a positive experience for the park's visitors.
