Clayton Farm

General Information

Officially certified organic in 2004, the Clayton family started their farm in 2001 by purchasing a 5 acre property in St. Davids. The Clayton Family immediately started growing their fruit by the principles of organic farming. Gooseberries, currants, pears, sweet cherries, and table grapes, (some unique varieties) are grown using an arsenal of environmentally friendly and natural pest controls that limit impacts to the farm and surrounding areas. Nestled below the Niagara Escarpment, they also grow heartnuts, hazelnuts and walnuts.
