Niagara College Teaching Winery

General Information

The students and teachers of Canada's Teaching Winery at Niagara College welcome you to their beautiful campus near the base of the Niagara Escarpment. Their school's wine store features their own brand of award-winning VQA wines produced in the Winery and Viticulture Technician Program. This teaching winery offers a chance to visit a unique institute of higher education that produces winemakers and viticulture technicians.

Niagara College Campus Wine Store offers wine tastings and all proceeds from sales of wine go toward the Winery and Viticulture Technician Program. Tours can be arranged upon request year-round.

Cap your experience at the college with lunch or dinner at their Niagara Culinary Institute Restaurant. Student chefs prepare your meal which you can pair with their fellow student's wines. The Niagara Culinary Institute and top regional chefs design the local seasonal menus which change four times per year.

On your way to the car, ask how to get to the Greenhouse Centre next door. There you can find unique plants cultivated by the students, for sale to the public. All plant sale revenues are used to support the educational programs at Niagara College.
