Chateau des Charmes

General Information

Situated North of the Niagara Escarpment, Chateau des Charmes features award-winning VQA wines, including icewines, late-harvest wines, sparkling wines, and reds and whites of winemaker and owner Paul Bosc. Bosc is one of the pioneer winemakers in the region, having come to Niagara toto produce quality wines for Chateau Gai (now part of Vincor).

Visitors are welcome for scheduled tours of the winery, as well as to peruse the boutique and sample some of Chateau de Charme's crafted wines.

Private events and weddings can be held in the well-decorated facilities in the scenic Niagara countryside. The wheelchair accessible Vineyard Courtyard is set on the St. David's Bench Vineyard and against the backdrop of the Niagara Escarpment. This tented courtyard provides an exquisite and unique venue for seasonal wedding receptions from May through October. A surrounding rose garden, wrought-iron patio furniture and lighting that adjusts to any ambiance add elegance and romance to this perfect Niagara wine country setting. The courtyard seats up to 200 guests at round tables of 8-10 people. Ceremonies can be hosted on the lawn alongside the rose garden behind the Vineyard Courtyard.
