General Description

The Niagara Entertainment Exchange Game Store, or NEX for short, is one of the few stores around that offers an incredibly vast selection of classic gaming titles at a fair price, and works with its customers to provide incentives for trade-ins that can't be matched at any other stores around. From classic consoles like the Sega Gensis or Gameboy Advanced to modern ones like the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, NEX has countless titles for every system, and allow customers to bring in games to trade-in for in-store currency, keeping their collection of games ever rotating. With the stores general flexibility and commitment towards its consumers, it stands as the place to go to for any classic titles you may want to relive, or for anything new you would like to try out.

Recreational Features

NEX offers a plethora of different games for different consoles, ranging from handheld to home entertainment, but they also offer a number of other products and services. Some of the products they sell include; movies, apparel, collectibles, games, gaming accessories, posters, consoles, plushies, and other electronics. They also allow for testing games in-store to verify their integrity for everyone's benefit, plan on hosting tournaments for Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart and NHL, are very flexible on returns, and offer up to 66% trade-in value in cash or in-store credit on games and other products.

Historical Attributes

Before becoming the entertainment exchange store that it is today, the location originally served as a Boomtown Billiards, coincidentally the same Boomtown Billiards the owner of NEX, Paul Malinowki, went to as a kid. Eventually that store would close, and in February of 2002 NEX would open its door and become one of the longest running stores of its kind in the area to date.
