Participark Trail (now Laura Secord Legacy Trail)

The Participark Trail is a section of the Laura Secord Legacy Trail and is near the original route that Laura Secord took along the West bank of the Twelve Mile Creek in 1813. The trail was renamed by the St. Catharines City Council in 2012 to celebrate the bicentennial anniversary of Laura Secord's walk.

Starting in downtown St. Catharines, the former Participark Trail (now a section of the Laura Secord Legacy Trail) veers off from the larger Merrit Trail and takes users south on the west side of Twelve Mile Creek. This path runs opposite to the Twelve Trail and is a good option for cyclists searching for a gentler route along this quiet and scenic waterway.

Located on the western bank of Twelve Mile Creek in southern St. Catharines. Extends from Glendale Avenue to St. Paul Crescent. Passes Rodman Hall Arts Centre.
