When you first approach the gate you see fabulously painted hay bales that look like Halloween Characters. As promised in the name they have a vast variety of pumpkins o choose from to purchase for home decor and carving.
Entrance to the grounds is free and you have access to the Pumpkins, Food Market, and Beer and Wine Garden. To access the fun fall attractions you need to purchase a ticket ahead of time.
In the attractions area there is plenty to do, many of the attractions require tokens that can be purchased on the spot. First you can take part in the pumpkin slingshot. You use a large slingshot to launch mini pumpkins into a large field with fun targets to aim for.
After the slingshot, there are many attractions to take part in. There is a large playground, jumping pit, animal petting area, wagon ride, Skeleton Band, Haunted Spooky Barn, Corn Maze, and more.
After a lot of time spent in the attractions area one can go back to the main area and enjoy some food from the market, a drink from the beer and wine garden, and a seat by a fire pit or at a picnic table.
Don't forget to grab a pumpkin or six on your way out!
There is a large playground and jumping area for kids. There is also lots of walking to be done at this large location.
Howell's started as just a roadside pumpkin cart. Selling pumpkins from the farm was enough to put Jerry Howell through Niagara College. The farm has been in the family since 1942.
Over the years the attractions have changed and grown into the well oiled machine it is today.
The pumpkin patch is very large and there are tons of pumpkins to choose from. There are also many animals including donkeys, goats, sheep, and cats around the farm that you can interact with.
Owned and operated by the Howell Family.
