A veritable wedding cake of a building next to the equally impressive All Souls Church, with its original entrance on Portland Place. It was constructed in 1932 as the BBC's first purpose-built broadcast centre and is currently the home of BBC radio. It was badly damaged by wartime bombing. Modem extensions built in 1961 and 1995 have now been demolished as the building has been totally refurbished to provide a state of the art broadcast centre. Main entrance is now on Langham Street, off All Souls Place
This was the location for two BBC sessions for Saturday Club on 13 February and 28 March 1967.
