Burapha University's Eastern Center of Arts and Culture in comprised of 3 main building; the Eastern Thailand art and culture museum, a museum dedicated to King Rama IX and the auditorium hall. The Arts and Culture Center is located directly to your east after entering through the Campus' main entrance, off of Long-Hard Bangsaen Road. The most intriguing aspect of this particular cultural center is that the exhibits and events change on a weekly and/or monthly basis. There is always something new to be seen, heard, and experienced here.



What is there to do here?

The formal activities available to staff, students and the general public here include;

  • Walking through the local art and culture museum
  • Purchase locally made products (additional costs apply)
  • Walking through the King Rama IX museum
  • Attend a specialty event or exhibit
  • Attend a concert or symphony

Please note the following costs for the above stated activities (prices may fluctuate depending on current events/ exhibits);

For Thai residents and staff and students of the University

  • 40 baht

For foreigners

  • 120 baht

When is the best time to go?

The hours of operation for both Museums located at this center are;

  • Monday- Friday 8:30am- 4pm
  • Saturday & Sunday CLOSED


Please note:

  • Visitors coming as groups (schools, government sectors and associations) should apply in in writing in advance for special group rates. Please see the University's website for more details.
  • Times for specialty events and concerts can be found on Burapha University's official website
  • The outside and surrounding area, including Lam Dhama garden, are quiet areas where one can relax, study or provide offerings to the Buddha image any time of the day
