Located on the Burapha University is the Institute of Marine Science. Here, locals, tourists, school groups, camp groups, etc can come and visit. Inside, it is set up as an aquarium. In the main lobby beside the entrance/exit doorways is a snack bar. This snack bar provides many refreshments for visitors during their excursion at the aquarium.
The Snack Bar is conveniently located at the entrance doorway and the exit doorway to the aquarium exhibit. This is an ideal location for people needing refreshments either prior to entering into the exhibit or upon exiting the exhibit.
Here at this snack bar, there are a variety of different treats to enjoy. These treats include: ice cream, potato chips, crackers, biscuits, popcorn as well as others.
A plentiful amount of drinks are offered at this snack bar. Hot and cold drinks are available. The cold drinks include coffee, chocolate, orange juice, Coca-Cola, Fanta, a variety of teas, and water.
A large variety of ice cream flavours are available for purchase. These flavours are: coconut, cappuccino chunk, chocolate, ruammitr, taro, green tea, rainbow, strawberry, lime, vanilla, chocolate chip and choc choc chip.
This snack bar does not only include snacks, but also includes convenience products to sell to visitors. These convenience products include: cough lozenges, strepsils, tylenol (paracetamol), batteries (size AA only), talcum powder as well as a liquid pain reliever.
At this snack bar, there are approximately 35 seats available. There are no tables.

The Snack Bar is located inside the lobby of the Institute for Marine Science. It is not a fixed building and is a movable stall. Thus there is less harm to the environment. All products sold at this snack bar are packed in disposable packaging. Drinks are served in non-reunable cups, ice cream is served in non-reusable dishes with non-reusable cutlery, and snack products are sold in their original plastic packaging. Therefore, looking at the environmental significance in relation to waste management of this snack booth can be negative.
This particular snack bar is open daily from 8:30am - 5pm.
