Glendale Bridge

General Information

Glendale Bridge was built to replace old one-way bridge. The one-way bridge was located along Old Glendale Road, but had to be taken down later for safety purposes. In its place is a pedestrian footbridge that crosses the Twelve Mile Creek, to Twelve Trail.

Directions

From 406: Exit at Glendale Avenue. Head W along Glendale Ave (If coming S turn left, if coming N or QEW-406 turn right). Pass Pen Centre, follow Glendale ave to Glenridge Ave. Keep following Glendale Ave for 850m approx. Turn right onto Old Glendale Road. There is a parking lot at the base of 12 Mile Creek. Bus: Take the 16 or 116 from Brock University. Get off at the 3rd bus stop at Glenridge Ave and Glendale Ave. Cross Glenridge Ave towards the Church of the Transfiguration. Cross Glendale Ave and walk west. Take the path that branches off Glendale Ave down towards the 12 Mile Creek. For bus schedule contact 905-687-5555.
