Ernie Grimo has a very unique operation in rural Niagara-on-the-Lake: he sells nut trees grown in a nursery on his farmland. Grimo Nut Nursery provides information about how to grow nut trees, and allows interested buyers to place orders for stock. For a limited time during the fall, Ernie also sells a variety of nuts from Ontario grown nut trees.

Their aim is to provide you with the best, most hardy nut trees, tree products, and nut products. Nut trees are among the best of our multi-purpose trees. Not only do they make fine shade and ornamental trees, but they also provide timber and a crop of valuable nuts. Ernie is past President and current Committee Chair for the Northern Nut Growers Association; also Founding President and currently Treasurer of The Society of Ontario Nut Growers. The Grimo Tree Nursery Catalog includes planting requirements, a climatic map, and tree characteristcs, including a description of a tree's nuts or fruits.
