The Niagara Falls Farmers Market is held every Saturday right next to the Niagara Falls museum. This morning event offers not only fresh local produce and meat but also live food demonstrations and entertainment. Farmers Markets are not only a great place to do the week's shopping, but it allows you to connect directly with where your food comes from. Supporting local farmers, butchers, and food distributors is also a great way to give back to the community.
The market has a small buildings with indoor vendors, like butchers, as well as outdoor vendor booths and tables. The outdoor vendors are season and weather dependant so the variety is always a surprise. There is a plan pending to increase the market size in the next few years.
