General Information

Malivoire's first vineyard, the "Moira", was purchased in 1995. A year later a second and larger property was acquired only a short distance to the west, which would become the site of the winery. Between 1995 and 2000, close to 50 acres were planted to Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Gamay and Pinot Noir. Malivoire produces 100% VQA wines and has a wonderful wine boutique and wine tasting bar. The winery's small batches of handcrafted wines are purchased primarily by private customers and restaurants in Ontario. Tours of Malivoire's unique "gravity winery" are available throughout the year by appointment.
