General Information

Paradise Grove Oak Savannah Restoration Area is located at the north end of the Niagara Parkway, just south of John Street in Niagara-on-the-Lake. This area is in the process of being restored to its natural state through the introduction of native plant species. Since 2003, with the introduction of 1,000 oak saplings, there has been a dramatic increase in biodiversity.

Paradise Grove is a fantastic place to go for a walk to become familiar with Niagara's local ecology. If you are looking to escape from the hustle bustle of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and would like to experience a natural setting, Paradise Grove is the place to go. Within walking distance from town, it is a peaceful nature retreat.
