Shaw Cafe

General Information

Located in the heart of Niagara-on-the-Lake on bustling Queen Street, the Shaw Cafe & Wine Bar is a European style cafe. The Shaw Cafe prides itself on offering one the finest selections of Niagara Regional wines in the area and boasts a wonderful menu from morning to night, featuring locally grown produce when in season. Its stunning patio wraps the building including the fountain statue of George Bernard Shaw. From spring until the fall season the patio is always overflowing with lush flowers and foliage. It is the perfect location to enjoy downtown Niagara on the Lake, while savouring the Cafe's delicous food.

Directions

From Toronto:

QEW (Hamilton/Niagara) or Hwy. 401 West to Hwy. 403 to QEW.

Just after you come off of the St. Catharines Skyway Bridge, you will see Exit 38B (Be careful, there is an Exit 38A just before it) to Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Exit 38B will get you on Glendale Avenue - turn right, crossing back over the QEW - stay on this until it ends at York Rd and turn left.

Follow York Road until you get to the first set of lights and turn right onto Airport Road.

Follow Airport Road until it intersects with Niagara Stone Road/Highway 55 (2nd stop).

Turn right onto Highway 55 and follow it until you enter Niagara-on-the-Lake "Old Town" (approximately 13 kms).

Turn right on Queen Street. This will take you through the town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

The Shaw Cafe and Wine Bar is located on the right hand side of the main street.

Hours of Operation

Open Daily:
Opens: 10am for coffee,
11am for food.
Closes: 11pm, except for Monday: 10 pm.
