General Information

Over the years, the Concordia statue has stood outside the smoking area at Brock University between the Thistle Complex, Mackenzie Chown, and Taro Hall. The Concordia statue was originally called Spirit de la Concorde or Spirit 3.

With the final touches being put on the new Cairns Building, which opened in September 2013, the Concordia statue has found a new home. It was moved to a new garden and sitting area on the North side of the Cairns Complex. This is its third home at Brock since coming to campus in 1968. The statue is made of Bronze, weighs over 2500 lbs, stands 8-feet tall and was created by a Canadian sculptor Elza Mayhew.
